Dubai EXPO 2020 crosses mark of 19 million visitors

The final month of DUBAI EXPO 2020 is witnessing a massive hike in the number of tourists. To date, more than 19 million people have been to the massive fair. In the previous week, nearly 1.6 million visitors arrived and toured the EXPO 2020. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The final month of DUBAI EXPO 2020 is witnessing a massive hike in the number of tourists. To date, more than 19 million people have been to the massive fair. In the previous week, nearly 1.6 million visitors arrived and toured the EXPO 2020. 

Out of the total figure, over 2.7 million visitors were children, who visited the mega event since its beginning in the month of October last year, the authorities informed.

The organisers of EXPO 2020 stated, “We are looking forward to a mega fair legacy and the next generation of innovators – from budding scientists to big thinkers”. 

Only two weeks are left until the DUBAI EXPO 2020 ends. Several renowned personalities have also paid a visit to the mega-event taking place in Dubai; at the starting of this month, the world’s youngest TEDx speaker, six-year-old Kiara Kaur, came to the EXPO and engaged in a conversation with the adult population during ‘Small Change Big Difference’ at the Mexico Pavilion. Her visit was a part of International Women’s week activities.  

Meanwhile, the official page of EXPO 2020 tweeted, “We spoke with loyal visitors of Expo 2020 Dubai about their thoughts, how Expo 2020 changed them, and what they will carry from it. The visitors were rewarded for the number of times they visited, recognised at an official ceremony by Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai.” 

The authorities, further inviting the world population to visit the DUBAI EXPO 2020, cited, “The world’s greatest global gathering ends in 16 days! Hurry up and be part of making history. It’s now or never before it’s gone forever”.
