Dubai Police Adds New MG RX9 to Traffic Patrol Fleet to Boost Safety and Efficiency

Dubai Police has enhanced its traffic patrol fleet with the addition of the newly launched MG RX9, a high-performance SUV designed to tackle diverse terrains.

The vehicle, introduced by MG Motors across the GCC region, starts at $26,000 (excluding VAT) and was unveiled during an official ceremony in Dubai.

The launch event was led by Brigadier Isam Ibrahim Al Awar, Acting Deputy Director of the General Department of Traffic.

Speaking at the event, Al Awar emphasized that the MG RX9’s integration into the force’s fleet demonstrates Dubai Police’s commitment to utilizing advanced technology and cutting-edge systems to ensure public safety and maintain order.

“These modern features are designed to improve traffic and security operations, elevate fieldwork quality, and deliver top-tier services to the public while ensuring high responsiveness,” he said.

The MG RX9, according to MG Motors, offers exceptional performance on all terrains and delivers smooth, responsive handling in any environment.

Equipped with state-of-the-art smart systems and artificial intelligence capabilities, the vehicle aims to enhance operational efficiency in Dubai’s bustling urban and tourist areas.

Dubai Police intends to leverage these features to manage traffic flow effectively and enhance their presence in high-traffic zones.

Al Awar praised the partnership between Dubai Police and Inter Emirates Motors, the local distributor of MG Motors, for their support in introducing advanced vehicles to the force.

“This collaboration reflects the strength of integration between government and private organisations, ensuring seamless implementation of community initiatives,” Al Awar stated.

Inter Emirates Motors, represented at the unveiling by General Manager Hisham Al Sahen and other senior officials, expressed pride in contributing to Dubai Police’s ongoing modernization efforts.

The MG RX9 was presented in Dubai Police’s iconic green and white livery during the ceremony.

The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Colonel Abdullah Atiq Al Kash, Director of the Events Department, Major Jassim Mohammed Abdullah, Head of the Events Section, and First Lieutenant Jumaa Ahmad Mahmoud, Head of the Transport Section.

Representatives from Inter Emirates Motors, including Wholesale Sales Manager Raymond Tarabay and Regional Sales Officer Mohammed Al Haj Hussein, were also present, highlighting the strong collaboration between the entities.
