Dubai-based fans can celebrate the rapper and singer’s big day by making their way to the Dave’s Hot Chicken branch in JBR between 11 am and 9 pm on Monday, October 24. Once here, all you need to do is follow the new chicken shop on Instagram or TikTok, and you’ll be given a free slider or chicken tender.

Diners can choose the heat level they want on their free food, from no spice to mild, extra hot and, for the different brave, ‘reaper’.

Calling the special offer ‘don’t die before you try it, Dave’s wants chicken lovers across Dubai to try their unique flavour. Drake invested in the brand after trying the founder’s recipe in LA.

Dave’s story started in 2017 when four childhood friends banded together USD900 dollars in savings and started selling fried chicken from a parking lot in East Hollywood.

The fried chicken created by Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, Tommy Rubenyan, and Gary Rubenyan quickly garnered popularity for its seasoning and tender texture.

Dave’s Hot Chicken’s popularity grew so much that Samuel L Jackson invested a significant stake of money, closely followed by Drake.

Opening its first Middle East-based branch in JBR, Dubai last month, there’s soon to be another branch in Motor City and another in Qatar later this year.
