This year’s event will have more than 6000 runners expected to register for the event in a 5km and 10km race, with a 3km fun run/walk open to females over 14 years.

In a press conference that took place at the Dubai Sports Council headquarters on Tuesday, May 31, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt said, “I would like to convey my gratitude to the organisers for selecting me as the brand ambassador. I have faith in women empowerment, and there is a strong connection between sports and movies.”

“It’s a fantastic event for women to take part in. My family lives here, and I will let my 12-year-old daughter partake in the event,” said Sanjay Dutt.

Participants will be able to take in views of the iconic skyline of Dubai and the Arabian Gulf as they move via the stylish district and previous quintessential experiences.

Entertainment activities for the whole family will be taking place by the side of the event, including kids’ activities and cultural performances.

A standard fixture on the UAE’s sporting calendar since 2010, Dubai Women’s Run is coming back for the first time since the corona (COVID-19) pandemic hit the world.
