Castries, Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, who also serves as the Minister of Tourism and Culture – Ernest Hilaire, has expressed his gratitude to the artists, patrons, and people for their contribution to the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival as it comes to an end.
He extended his heartfelt thankfulness to the organizers of the festival for pulling over such a large-scale national event in the country. He said that the event was a complete success in many terms, which also imposed some hurdles which were tackled gracefully.
According to the shared information, while expressing his deepest regards to the people and creatives of Saint Lucia and around the world, Deputy Prime Minister took to his official social media account to share a warm congratulatory and emotional message.
In his remarks, he stated that it was a pleasure to witness such a memorable event in Saint Lucia which was only possible with the essential contributions of the artists and the people of the country.
Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister also outlined that along with the artists and the attendees, the organizers coordinated at an exceptional level which facilitated the event to be commenced smoothly and peacefully and incident free.
In addition, through his official Facebook account caption, the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia expressed his emotions at the end of the festival and noted, “As we bring this year’s Jazz and Arts Festival to a close, I want to say thank you! Thank you to all the people and patrons who supported the events and attended.”
Along with this, he also acknowledged the important role played by the other managerial authorities of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival throughout the events.
He further recognized the efforts and hard work they put in to make the event successful and fun. In this context, he said, “Thank you to all the service providers who made it possible. Thank you to all the renowned artists and creatives who graced the stages across the island.”
The reports also claimed that the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival returned to the Caribbean country after a while which was conducted at the national level.
It was considered the biggest event of the year 2023 that happened in Saint Lucia, which is a matter of pride for the Saint Lucians, reports added.
In the end, it was also stated that Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire also mentioned the significance of the national festival in many terms. In his remarks, he also recognized some of the challenges and unforeseen hurdles that occurred during some events, which were unfortunate.
“In our return year, we faced some challenges that we will learn from for an even better festival next year, but we are glad to see a successful return of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival. “See you in 2024!” he said.
