Cairo, Egypt: The General Health Care Authority recently issued a statement following the inspection tour of Ismailia to the Al-Qasaseen Hospital.

As per the official update, the head of the Health Care Authority inspects the experimental operation and final preparations of Al-Qasaseen Hospital. The head of the Health Care Board assures the availability of services provided in the departments of the Hospital. He reviews the Hospital’s mechanisms and operating systems after its demo operation.

The head of the Health Care Authority affirms commitment to the preparation program and compulsory and specialised training for service providers to ensure the best services and health care to the citizens.

The head of the Health Care Authority stated that Al-Qasaseen Specialist Hospital has 46 internal beds, 15 care beds, an operating department and another for kidney failure and added that the Specialist Hospital will provide more medical and therapeutic services to the people of Ismailia and the Canal Region.

The head of the Health Care Authority also mentioned that the cost of the renovation and development of Al-Qassaseen Hospital in Ismailia exceeds 200 million pounds. The head of the Health Care Authority praised the quality of medical and non-medical equipment in Al-Qasaseen Hospital as an essential standard for ensuring the delivery of high-quality health services.

During his inspection tour of Ismailia governorate, Dr Ahmed Al-Sabaki, Chairman of the General Health Care Authority and the General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Hayat Karimah projects in the Ministry of Health and Population, made an inspection tour of the Qasaseen Specialist Hospital belonging to the Authority in Ismailia Governorate, the third governorate to implement the Comprehensive Health insurance system.

The tour included Dr Ahmed Al-Sabky, who checked the development works, final preparations, and different departments of Al-Qassein Hospital, specialising in emergency and emergency, external clinics, internal departments, operating rooms, intensive care, kidney failure, radiation rooms, laboratories, pharmacies, in addition to ensuring the Hospital’s trial operation, according to the update by the Government of Egypt.

During the tour, Al-Sabaki assured the availability of services provided in the different departments of the Al-Qasin Specialist Hospital and also assured the availability of all medical, preventive supplies and medicines that a patient needs during his stay and receiving health care in the Hospital, along with reviewing mechanisms and organising the Hospital after its demo operation, emphasising the importance of adhering to preparation programs and compulsory training And the speciality is for health care providers.

Dr Sabky indicated that Al-Qasaseen Hospital will provide more medical and therapeutic services to the people of Ismailia and the Canal Region, assuring that comprehensive health insurance is the latest quality breakthrough and unprecedented development in Egypt’s medical and health sector.

Al-Sabaki praised the quality of medical and non-medical equipment of Al-Qasaseen Hospital, a sign that all hospitals listed in the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project are equipped with the latest medical and non-medical equipment as a basic standard to ensure the quality of services and health care provided to citizens, with the goal of establishing a strong health system that has all the elements of success and is more responsive to future requirements.

Reportedly, Dr Ahmed Al-Sabky explained that the Hospital has a total area of more than 6 thousand square meters and 46 internal beds, in addition to the intensive care department containing 15 beds, and another operating department containing two operating rooms, labs, and blood bank, in addition to a gynaecology and obstetrician department containing a natural delivery room and a room A c-section, 11 nurseries for smiling babies, an isolation room, a private renal care unit with 16 renal care chairs, in addition to the emergency and reception departments, outpatient clinics, laboratories, radiation and pharmacies in the Hospital.

Al-Sabaki outlined that the cost of the renovation and development of the Al-Qasaseen Hospital project amounts to more than 200 million Egyptian pounds, and the Ismailia Comprehensive Health Insurance System focuses on 66 health facilities, of which 12 hospitals as well as 54 centres and family medicine units to provide comprehensive and integrated health care services to the people of the province, and the cost of the Ismailia Health System 10,125 billion Egyptian pounds.

As per the reports, during his tour of Ismailia, Dr Ahmed Al-Sabaki, Chairman of the Healthcare Board, accompanied Dr Amir Al-Talwani, Executive Director of the Board, Dr Jamal Ratba, Advisor to the Chairman of the Financial Affairs Board and Chairman of the Central Administration for Institutional Support Services, Dr Ahmed Hamad, Advisor to the President of the Health Policy and Systems Board, Dr Sharif Kamal, Advisor to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Board Medicine Management, Dr Tariq Al-Hosari, Consultant to the Chairman of the Institutional Development Authority, Dr Ahmed Zidane, Consultant to the President of the Board for Health Investment and Resource Management, and Dr Michael Rezaq, Consultant at the Technical Office of the Chairman of the Board.

Along with this, the tour was also attended by Dr Wael Imran, Assistant Executive Director of Operations; Major General Sharif Bilal, Assistant Executive Director for Engineering and Projects; Major General Hisham Shandy, Assistant Executive Director of eHealth and Telemedicine; Dr Moomen Al-Ashmawy, Director General of Strategic Management and Supervisor of Strategic Projects, and Dr Muhammad Nashat, Director of Follow-up and Evaluation Department Eng. Mohamed El-Sisi, Director of Crisis and Disaster Management and the General Supervisor of the Vision of the Authority; Dr Mohamed Al-Snaferi, General Manager of the General Administration for Secondary and Tertiary Care; and Dr Mohamed Sami, Branch Manager of the Authority in Ismailia.
