Emirates opens upgraded lounge with several amenities for unaccompanied young children passengers

The children can now relax, play games, and do whatever they want in a newly upgraded lounge at the Dubai International Airport, located next to Emirates' First Class Lounge in Concourse B.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The youngsters will not have to sit idle and get bored while waiting to board the Emirates flight. The children can now relax, play games, and do whatever they want in a newly upgraded lounge at the Dubai International Airport, located next to Emirates’ First Class Lounge in Concourse B.

This lounge is specifically for the youngsters, with video games, drinks and snacks, cosy seating areas, free Wi-Fi as well as washrooms designed for them.

Meanwhile, the service is only for the age group of 5-15 years, who are travelling without any companion. To get the service, they will have to make a pre-booking.

Those who have done pre-booking “Unaccompanied Minor service” can leave their children at the Dubai Airport Terminal 3, from where the team of Emirates will guard them to the lounge. This establishment is uncovered in between the Economy and First/Business Class Check-in halls.

Further, during the time of boarding a plane, the cabin crew of Emirates will escort them, waiting at the airport door, and will assist them in finding their seats in the flight, ensuring they are settled.

While enjoying their super delicious meals, the kids can play with the toys and activity packs and kid-sized headsets to relish the selection of over 50 Disney movies and 130+ TV channels for young travellers.

Moreover, the current toys which are being offered by the Dubai-based airline are 100 per cent environment friendly, as they are made from recycled material.
