Iraq: The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, has recently received and welcomed the Chairman of the Federal Public Service Council, Mr Mahmoud Al-Tamimi, who congratulated the President on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.Â
The Meeting was held today, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in Baghdad Palace. Both parties held detailed discussions over a number of challenges and issues related to the Country.
According to the shared information, during the Meeting, comprehensive research on the developments was conducted on the square, especially after the approval of the federal general budget.
In addition to this, the President of the Republic pointed out the importance of the responsibility imposed on the service board and representing the delegation of the state institutions with the capabilities necessary to perform their work and to provide the necessary services to citizens easily.
Furthermore, the reports also claimed that President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized that the people of Iraq should get all the possible benefits imposed by the Government.
On his part, President Jamal asserted that the appointments should be in accordance with the Federal Service Council Act and enforced by the General Budget Act. He also noted the coordination with the governorates and following professional and fair administrative methods, referring to the need to care for outstanding graduates and the campaign for Higher Certificates in various disciplines.
On his part, Mr Mahmoud Al-Tamimi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Mr President for his interest and diligence in lowering obstacles.Â
He further emphasized the importance of coordinating with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to organize qualifications and training courses for young people and meet the need for foreign investments in the Country for local workers.
Al-Tamimi said that the council collected data on graduates and a postgraduate certificate campaign from graduates of recognized universities, colleges and institutes in the Kurdistan Region to appoint them within the job levels to be announced, especially those outside the region.
