The former couple were reunited during a virtual meeting of celebrities for the movie “Past Time at Richmond High” table read last year. Jennifer went on to play Linda flirting with Pitt, who played the Brad Hamilton in the movie. Needless to say, fans went crazy over the instance.

Addressing the last year’s reunion which freaked out their fans, Jen said, “It was absolutely fun… Brad and I are buddies, we’re friends.” Aniston added, “We speak, and there’s no oddness at all, except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be, or assumed there to be. We had fun, and it was for a great cause.”

Other than the last year’s reunion, the two celebrities often run into each other during award shows and on red carpets. Although the two share a good friendly relationship, Jen and Brad both know that their fans are still wishing for their reunion.

Shutting the rumors of potential reconciliation and addressing their playful run-ins, Jen said during another red carpet interview, “It’s hysterical, but what else are [people] gonna talk about?”

However, as reported by ET in May, a source told the outlet that the fans will not get to see Aniston and Pitt back together. As told by the source then, “There’s nothing romantic there, but they are definitely aware that their fans are constantly rooting for them to get back together and laugh about it together.”

The source added that Brad and Jennifer sometimes, “egg on the media frenzy surrounding them in a playful way.” As per the source, the former couple “respect” each other think of each other as “widely talented and hilarious.”
