PM Narendra Modi receives Prez Zayed Al Nahyan in Delhi for 18th G20 Summit

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has extended welcome to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Bharat Mandapam for the 18th G20 Summit.

It is to be noted that the President of UAE has been in Delhi to take part in the ongoing G20 Summit.

The details about the above mentioned has been shared by the Embassy of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in India. While taking it to their official social media handle, the Embassy of UAE in India, noted that, “Prime Minister @narendramodi recieved Sheikh @MohamedBinZayed , President of the UAE, at the #BharatMandapam for the 18th #G20SummitDelhi. India and UAE share a special bond.”

It is to be specifically mentioned that, the 2023 G20 New Delhi Summit is the 18th meeting, which is taking place from September 9 to September 10, 2023. It is taking place in Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The G20 India during the 18th Summit has put forth six agenda priorities for the dialogue, which includes:

  • Accelerated, Inclusive and Resilient growth
  • Green development, climate finance and LiFE
  • Accelerating progress on SDGs
  • Technological Transformation and Digital Public Infrastructure
  • Multilateral Institutions for the 21st century
  • Women-led development

Notably, UAE President Al Nahyan extended appreciation for the India’s organization and hosting of the summit, commending the Indian G20 Presidency’s successful convening of the G20 process.

Moreover, he also highlighted his hope for the summit to result in positive outcomes, wishing the Federative Republic of Brazil success in its G20 Presidency during the next year.

The recent inauguration of the summit was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; and Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State.

This is the 4th year that the UAE is taking part in the G20 process in the reflection of the effots for empowering the international cooperation and joint action and achieving heights in boosting the sustainable development and prosperity.
