Sharjah Police Handle Nearly 10,000 Emergency Calls During New Year’s Eve 2025 Celebrations

On Thursday, Sharjah Police revealed that its operations centre handled a total of 12,241 calls throughout the New Year's celebrations. Of these, 9,992 calls were made via the emergency number 999, while 2,249 calls were made through the non-emergency number 901

Sharjah Police successfully managed a large volume of emergency calls during the New Year’s Eve 2025 celebrations, with no fatalities or major accidents reported across the emirate.
