Sini Shetty of Karnataka became the winner of Femina Miss India World 2022

Karnatka's Sini Shetty grabbed the title of Femina Miss India World 2022 during the VLCC Femina Miss India grand finale on Sunday, 3 June.

Karnataka’s Sini Shetty grabbed the title of Femina Miss India World 2022 during the VLCC Femina Miss India grand finale on Sunday, 3 June.

The event took place at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan became the first runner-up of Femina Miss India 2022, whereas Uttar Pradesh’s Shinata Chauhan grabbed the title of second runner-up.

The jury of the event consisted of celebrities Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora and Dino Morea, choreographer Shiamak Davar, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna and former cricketer Mithali Raj.

The pageant’s organisers issued a statement and stated that they did a nationwide hunt in a hybrid format to find exclusive talents from around the nation. The scouting drive and interviews helped in shortlisting 31 state winners.

The 21-year-old Sini Shetty was born and brought up in Karnataka and is presently pursuing a course in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Shetty will now be representing India at the prestigious 71st Miss World pageant.

Former Femina Miss India Universe, Ms Dhupia, stated that the journey of Femina Miss India brings back memories of the priceless experiences with this pageant.

The star-studded evening was enlightened with performances by actors Lauren Gottlieb, Kriti Sanon and Ash Chandler. Manish Paul was the host of the event.

The event of VLCC Femina Miss India 2022 was co-powered by Sephora, Moj as well as Rajnigandha pearls.

The announcement of the title winners was also made on the official Instagram account of Femina Miss India.

Soon after the announcement of the winner, Sini Shetty posted on her official Twitter account that she is thankful to each and every one who supported her during this journey of Miss India 2022.
