The Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Egypt - Amr Talaat, has recently shared the scope of budding technology of ‘Metaverse’ through a recent competition called "Metaverse Innovation Hackathon".
The Middle East division of cryptocurrency platform FTX Europe, FTX Exchange, has received approval to enter the minimum viable product (MVP) programme of Dubai for virtual assets, managed by the UAE's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (Vara).
Dubai will conduct an event focused on the metaverse, with international and local leaders attending to discuss the potential of ascending digital space.
A couple from Dubai has decided to get married in the metaverse after legal issues arising from their nationalities initially forced them to get wedded in Georgia in 2019. After the marriage, the pair stated they would utilize their own experience to help others get married at the online platform metaverse as well.
