Abu Dhabi, UAE: According to the recent data shared by the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, April 10, 2022, a total of fresh 224 COVID-19 infections were recorded today.
The total number of the confirmed COVID-19 infections in the Middle East nation has hiked to 893,862 since the beginning of the pandemic, as per the official data. These fresh COVID cases have been reported out of the total 233,862 RT-PCR tests conducted in the last 24 hours in the United Arab Emirates.
While along with the reporting of these additional COVID infections, there are a total of 591 patients of the novel coronavirus who got recovered from the virus in between the past 24 hours, bringing the overall recovery rate of the Middle East state as of today to 874,040, according to the official data shared by the health ministry.
No additional death has been reported in the UAE related to viral illness on the previous day; thus, the death rate in the country continues to remain at 2,302.
In terms of vaccination, to date, there are a total of 9,890,305 individuals who have taken at least one jab of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines and are in the category of partially vaccinated individuals.
The official statics further reveals that there are a total of 9,623,267 citizens of the UAE who have taken their required number of the COVID-19 vaccines and are now fully vaccinated against the virus. This number of individuals represents nearly 97.3% of the total targeted eligible population of the country.
On the other hand, there are a total of 5,032,187 individuals who are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third dose, which is booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccines so far, representing around 50.9% of the total targeted eligible population of the Middle East nation.
