Ramada opens luxury resort in Caribbean island of St Kitts

The Ramada Hotel on the outskirts of St Paul was officially opened on Thursday by Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Timothy Harris. He complimented all in attendance on the new opening of the opulent hotel on the island of St Kitts rural region.

Dr Timothy Harris, together with cabinet members Akilah Byron-Nisbett, Eugene Hamilton, Jonel Powell, and Wendy Phipps, were among the special guests at the Ramada Hotel’s Grand Opening.

Dr Harris stated: “I am very pleased to see the nation’s innovation and development industry taking the lead in transformation. The grand opening of the stunning Ramada hotel was attended by a large crowd.”

“The luxurious hotel is intended to contribute to the country’s developmental progress. It would also help strengthen the employment sector by providing additional jobs and opportunities for St Kitts and Nevis residents.”

The advent of the Ramada has added to the magnificent views of St Kitts & Nevis’ attractiveness.

Furthermore, it is projected that the rebound of energy in the tourism industry would benefit from the easing in COVID-19; it is also envisaged that the economy and employment sector will benefit.

In the meantime, the Prime Minister stated that “Ramada is anticipated to revitalise the tourism industry as it is on the mend.”

He said another fantastic step forward, Ramada’s debut gives new jobs and opportunities to people. According to the Prime Minister, the hotel is a symbol of rural St. Kitts’ rebirth and growth.

The opening of Ramada will provide the best possible service to all visitors and create jobs in the hotel industry. They also stated that they would do all possible to contribute to St Kitts and Nevis’ beautification.

During a time when the tourism industry is on the mend, the luxurious resort is expected to improve the Federation’s hotel room capacity. The hotel’s ceremonial inauguration has delighted locals because it would create hundreds of jobs in the hospitality industry, assisting in increasing employment in St Kitts and Nevis.
