Saudi Arabia records 1,569 new COVID cases with 1 death

The total tally of Saudi Arabia’s death rate stands at 8,978. With the arrival of these additional COVID-19 infections, the confirmed cases number of the middle east country has risen to 736,000.

Among the additional novel coronavirus cases reported, a total of four hundred ninety-nine (499) were recorded in Riyadh, one hundred one (121) in Dammam, ninety-six (96) in Jeddah, and fifty-six (56) in Hofuf. On the other hand, several other municipalities in Saudi Arabia each have reported less than 50 additional cases.

As per the data, there are a total of 2,847 COVID-19 patients who got recovered from the contagious virus on February 17, 2022, bringing the total recoveries of the middle east state to 704,896.

In terms of the vaccination statistics, to date, more than 60 million doses of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Saudi Arabia.

There are a total of 25,792,668 individuals in the middle east country who are partially vaccinated by taking their first jabs of the COVID-19 vaccines. This number counts for around 74.1% of the total population of Saudi Arabia, according to the statics.

Meanwhile, 23,964,566 persons are there in the country who are fully inoculated by receiving their required number of the COVID-19 jabs, computing for around Saudi Arabia’s 68.8% population.

The booster shots are also being administered in Saudi Arabia so far, which have been taken by a total of 9,904,609 individuals. This tally counts for nearly about 28.5% of the total population of Saudi Arabia.
