UAE: 386 fresh COVID-19 cases reported; 1 dies

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates recorded additional 386 total cases of the novel coronavirus on Monday, March 7, 2022, the Ministry of Health and Prevention stated.

With the arrival of these additional COVID-19 cases, the total tally of the active novel coronavirus infections has been increased to 36,660. These new cases were reported among the 301,287 additional COVID-19 tests conducted by the healthcare officials of the country.

The data shared by the health ministry further highlights that on Monday, a total of 1,203 individuals recovered from the contagious viral disease. Meanwhile, one fresh COVID-19 related death has also been recorded by the healthcare authorities of the country.

The overall death rate of the United Arab Emirates for the present time stands at 2,302. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a total of 844,308 individuals who got recovered from the contagious viral illness.

COVID vaccination rate of UAE:

In the Middle East country, as of March 6, 2022, there are a total of 9,890,568 individuals have received their least first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines and hence are partially inoculated against the virus. This number represents around 99% of the total population.

On the other hand, there are a total of 9,524,617 individuals in the Middle East nation who are fully vaccinated by taking their required number of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines, as of Sunday, March 6, 2022, computing around 96.3% of the total targeted population.

The data shared by the health ministry further reveals that there are a total of 4,806,816 individuals in the United Arab Emirates who are fully inoculated and have also taken their booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccines. This number of the total individuals counts for about 48.6% of the total population of the Middle East state.
