DUBAI: Albait Metwahid Al Warqa COVID-19 Vaccination Centre will be closed from March 17

Dubai Health Authority (DHA) today, on March 16, 2022, announced that one of the COVID-19 vaccination centres in the city of Dubai would be closed from Thursday, March 17, 2022. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Dubai Health Authority (DHA) today, on March 16, 2022, announced that one of the COVID-19 vaccination centres in the city of Dubai would be closed from Thursday, March 17, 2022. 

The health authority shared the information via the Twitter handle, which states, “Dear Customers, Kindly note that Albait Metwahid Al Warqa COVID-19 Vaccination Centre will be closed from March 17 2022, we will send an SMS with details of the new location for your vaccination appointment.”

Meanwhile, the Dubai health authority, earlier in the month of January, announced the closure of the One Central Covid-19 vaccination centre. The data shows that the United Arab Emirates comes in the list of countries with higher vaccination coverage rates and has almost achieved its target of fully inoculating its population. 

The COVID-19 vaccination rate of the Middle East country: 

In the United Arab Emirates, till now, there are a total of 9,890,539 individuals who have received their at least first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines and are now in the category of partially vaccinated population. This number of UAE citizens represents around 99% of the total targeted population, according to the figures. 

On the other hand, there are a total of 9,554,261 individuals in the Middle East nation who have taken their recommended jabs of the COVID-19 vaccines and are now completely immunised against the deadliest viral disease, computing for approximately 96.6% of the total population. 

Booster shots are also being administered in the United Arab Emirates, which so far has been received by a total of 4,871,090 individuals. This number of individuals represents around 49.3% of the total population. 

In addition, on the occasion of Emirati Children’s Day, DHA engaged with several children related activities commemorating the day.

DHA tweeted, “Today, we participated in the Dubai Municipality celebration of #يوم_الطفل_الإماراتي, where we presented a series of health, awareness and recreational workshops and programs for children in Child City.” 

The other tweet of DHA cites, “We participated in @DMunicipality‘s event to celebrate #EmiratiChildrenDay, where we held many health awareness activities and programs for children in Children’s City.”
