COVID in UAE: New 313 cases recorded with no death

United Arab Emirates today (March 31, 2022) recorded a total of additional 313 infections of the novel coronavirus, as per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Prevention in its report.

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The United Arab Emirates today (March 31, 2022) recorded a total of additional 313 infections of the novel coronavirus, as per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Prevention in its report. This brings the overall number of COVID-19 active infections in the Middle East nation to 21,336 as of March 31, 2022. 

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed infections in the United Arab Emirates has increased to 891,300. These fresh cases were resulted positive from the 323,104 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, the data shared by the health ministry further adds.

There are a total of 790 COVID-19 patients who successfully recovered from the deadliest viral disease during the time frame of the last 24 hours and are now discharged from the hospital facilities, taking the overall tally of COVID recoveries in UAE to 867,662. 

No patient of the COVID-19 virus scummed to the mutant in the last 24 hours; therefore, the death toll in the country remains at 2,302 as of March 31, 2022. 

COVID-19 vaccination rate of the country: 

To date, in the United Arab Emirates, a total of 9,890,280 individuals who are partially vaccinated by taking at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines, representing nearly 100% of the total targeted eligible population of the country. 

The official data reveals, a total of 9,603,462 individuals in UAE have received their required doses of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines and are now in the category of the fully immunized population of the Middle East nation. 

There are a total of 4,983,713 individuals who are fully inoculated in the United Arab Emirates and have also taken their booster shot (third dose) of the COVID-19 vaccines so far, according to the data shared by the health ministry.

As the Ramadan season arrives, the health ministry advises the general population of the country to stick to the COVID-19 health protocols.
