With the arrival of these new infections, the total tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases has increased to 893,172 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The health ministry further informed that in the last 24 hours, a total of 602 COVID-19 patients recovered from the mutant, taking the overall count of UAE’s coronavirus recoveries as of April 7 to 872,271.

Although no additional death has been confirmed in the past 24 hours by the United Arab Emirates’ health facilities, hence, the death rate in the Middle East country remains at 2,302, the official data further adds.

These new infections were detected from the 264,300 RT-PCR tests conducted in the past day. Till now, more than 150 million RT-PCR tests have been conducted all across the Middle East nation.

So far, there are a total of 9,890,297 individuals who have taken their one jab of the COVID-19 jabs and are now partially inoculated, representing nearly 100% of the total targeted eligible population of the Middle East nation.

On the other hand, there are a total of 9,623,259 citizens of the UAE who are fully vaccinated by receiving their required number of the COVID-19 vaccines. This number of people accounts for around 97.3% of the total eligible targeted population of the nation.

Meanwhile, 5,025,260 individuals in the Middle East nation are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third dose, that is, booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccines, according to the official data. This number of individuals represents around 50.8% of the total targeted eligible population.
