Last year, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce also got the 100% Paperless Stamp after meeting the targets outlined under the Strategy of Paperless Dubai. The strategy was launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai.

The Dubai Paperless Strategy aspires to rank Dubai as a smart city globally and make it the first paperless government in the world.

The number of tourists that come to the Chamber’s customer happiness offices declined significantly after following the COVID-led digital shift, which helped the organisation’s milestone of acquiring 100% innovative transformation in its services.

The president and chief executive officer of Dubai Chambers, Hamad Buamim, highlighted the commitment of the Chamber to supporting Dubai’s Paperless Strategy and also making Dubai position in a global business and innovation hub.

He emphasised that the Dubai Chamber of Commerce presently provides more than 50 smart services, significantly improving the ease of doing business and streamlining processes.

The director of Information Technology at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Saif Hattawi, stated that the advanced digital infrastructure had boosted the Chamber’s customers and employees to seamlessly transition to a new system, which persists to grow to meet the business community’s needs.

Hattori further added that investing in the development of digital services and enhancing the experiences of customers remains a priority for the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, which signed the first paperless memorandum of understanding recently with an Italian business delegation.

The Dubai Paperless Strategy seeks to build a perfectly integrated paperless government framework and is an administration that makes solid plans and strategies to safeguard people’s happiness and develop their communities to fulfil the needs of the future cities.
