The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, has disclosed a rewards system to honour the brightest high school students of the emirates.

The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, has disclosed a rewards system to honour the brightest high school students of the emirates.

Sheikh Hamdan stated that Emiratis and residents at both private and public schools would be in line for recognition under new plans to empower future generations.

The scheme will further include financial prizes for over 50 top high school students and also academic sponsorships and scholarships for students of the UAE at universities at home and abroad.

Excellent immigrant students will get a chance to win discounts at international university branches all will persist in getting golden visas for themselves and also their families.

Last July, the United Arab Emirates government declared that children who scored 95% or more during final exams would get a 10-year visa for themselves and their immediate families.

The recent strategy is for the Ministry of Education, British, American and International Baccalaureate curriculums.

The first batch of excellent performing students will be given their rewards in September.

Sheikh Hamdan stated that the initiative was in line with the idea of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, to invest in and make the use of the potential of young people who are willing to play an essential role in the country’s development.

Sheikh Hamdan stated on Twitter that Sheikh Mohammed had endless ambitions for the future of Dubai that would require individuals with a great deal of efficiency, distinction and creativity.

Last Tuesday, Sheikh Mohammed made sudden phone calls to the UAE’s best-performing public school students to tell them about their results, a day before they were released officially.

Emirates School Establishment, the UAE’s public school operator, disclosed Grade 12 exam results for 28,775 students at public schools and a small of private schools that go as per the Ministry of Education curriculum. The overall pass percentage was 94.4%.
