Face masks are not needed outside but are required indoors. Social distancing restrictions are now prioritized to ensure the safety of school students and staff.

Those who encounter an infected person do not need to be isolated and can come to school if they do not have symptoms. In Abu Dhabi, a green status on the Al Hosn app will be mandatory.

Taken together, these new guidelines of COVID19 in UAE reflect a vastly improved situation within the nation. But vigilance is still needed to keep new infections at the current low.

On Wednesday, there were only 602 diagnosed cases of COVID19 and no deaths related to coronavirus.

This should be easy enough to maintain with the continuous approach. UAE policies have been at the heart of one of the most successful Covid-19 strategies globally for almost three years.
