Dutch school paints future of national teams in UAE

The Dutchman, Marcel Luca, was also hired to take over the task of technical director of the technical committee and national teams, a position that is concerned with planning and drawing the general technical policy for the administration, succeeding the former Belgian coach Michel Sablon.

Luca previously worked in the Dutch Football Association, as well as at Al-Nasr Club, for several years, before returning to his homeland, which facilitates his mission in the Football Association during the coming period.

Luca is working on developing an ambitious plan to improve and develop the work and present it to the technical committee and teams for approval. It deals with technical work and lays a strong foundation for the advancement of all teams during the coming period.

The efforts of the technical committee and the teams, headed by Hamid Al Tayer, continue to improve the work of the teams in general and to provide all support in order to appear at a good level during the continental participations that the teams engage in while continuing to develop plans and programmes and to present many ideas aimed at improving technical work during the period future, in line with the strategy that was developed in the past period.

Which aims to qualify for the World Cup, starting from 2034, and a sustainable mechanism to reach the round of 16 in the World Cup from 2038, strive to compete for the title of the AFC U-20 Cup 2030, and rise to first place in the classification of the Asian continent 2030, and win the Asian Cup for men for the year 2031.

In addition to targeting a seat in the membership of the Executive Board of the International Football Association in 2023, membership of the Executive Office of the Asian Confederation for the same year, and hosting the FIFA Congress in the year 2025.
