The fifty-one-year-old elder adult lured the little five-year-old girl with her brother from outside their residence in Ajman. He took both the kids to his car and filmed the little girl when he was practising indecent acts with her.

During the Public Prosecution’s investigation, the mother of both the kids said that some strangers and neighbours told her both kids were inside some stranger’s cars. The victim’s mother added that she rushed towards the vehicle outside their residence in Ajman, but the convict fled away.

The mother said her kids told her the convict told them to come towards their car, and he would give them a ride. Afterwards, he put the eight-year-old boy in the front seat, and the five-year-old girl was in the backseat of the car.

The convict asked the little girl to remove her underwear, and then he started practising inappropriate acts while filming the incident.

The man was charged, and it was found that the man is wanted for 37 criminal counts of sexual harassment, Public indecency, indecent assault, and theft.

The 51-year-old man had been deported before but returned to the country. The police found pictures of six naked children in the trash pin on his mobile phone.

The man confessed to his crimes and was sentenced to 11 years in jail, followed by deportation.

According to the reports, rapes in the United Arab Emirates declined from 0.3 per cent to 0.0 per cent in between 2013 to 2018. But the statistics tended to rise in 2019.

The UAE Government recognises that the nation’s security is a collective responsibility and that individuals can potentially help realise security and prevent crimes.

Therefore, the United Arab Emirates government introduced some security services and channels that enable people to communicate and report any suspicious or harmful incidents directly to the authorities.
