According to the “Passport Index” index of Arton Capital, a global financial advisory company, the UAE passport now grants its holder entry to 176 countries around the world without a visa (119 countries without a prior visa and 57 countries whose permits can be obtained online or on arrival) with a percentage of 88.9% of the world’s nations.

The global index specialized in estimating the strength of passports for countries of the world stated that the UAE passport is able, for the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic, to reduce the countries that need a previous visa to only 22 countries, out of 198 countries accredited to the United Nations.

And came in second place in the list of the most powerful passports in the world, the passports of 12 countries with a score of 172 visa-free entry points, which are the passports of Germany, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, South Korea, and the United States American.

Passports from 8 other countries are currently ranked third in the index with a score of 171 visa-free points: Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Norway, Poland, Japan, Ireland, and New Zealand. It also occupies fourth place with 170 points for passports of 5 other countries. They are the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Canada, and Australia.

Five other countries occupy fifth place in the list with 169 points, which are passports: Singapore, Malta, Lithuania, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom.
