Seventy-two-year-old Robbie Coltrane and Harry Potter’s famous character ‘Hagrid’ playing actor passed away on Saturday.

Robbie Coltrane was also known for his iconic character as a former KGB agent-turned-Russian mafia boss in the infamous James Bond films “Goldeneye” (1995) and “The World Is Not Enough” (1999) with Pierce Brosnan.

Robbie got a lot of fame and fondness with his iconic role of paying as a former KGB agent-turned-Russian mafia boss.

The whole social media was grieving over the death of an excellent artist. Instagram and Twitter were filled with photos and videos of his famous character Hagrid.

The cast of famous Harry Potter shared their sincere consoling on Social media photographs and captions.

Famous writer of the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling, shared her condolences with a lengthy caption and shared a photograph with the late actor.

JK Rowling, on her official social media Twitter handle, shared, “I’ll never know anyone remotely like Robbie again. He was an incredible talent, a complete one-off, and I was beyond fortunate to know him, work with him and laugh my head off with him. I send my love, light and deepest condolences to his family and children.”

The famous lead of Harry Potter, Daniel Redcliffe, wrote in a heartfelt caption while expressing Robbie was one of the funniest people I’ve met and used to keep us constantly laughing as kids on the set”.

Robbie Coltrane and Daniel Redcliffe starred together in all eight ‘Harry Potter movies, from the ‘Sorcerer’s Stone in 2001 to ‘Death Hallows Part 2’ in 2011, as Hagrid and little Harry Potter.

In addition, Daniel Redcliffe wrote,” I’ve especially fond memories of him keeping our spirits up on ‘Prisoner of Azkaban,’ when we were all hiding from the torrential rain for hours in Hagrid’s hut, and he was telling stories and cracking jokes to keep morale up.

“I feel fortunate that I got to meet and work with him and very sad that he’s passed. He was an incredible actor and a lovely man,” Harry Potter’s lead added.
