Dubai: DEWA organizes Metaverse and Twin Hackathon, aims to strengthen technology

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) recently organized a Metaverse and Twin Hackathon. The event was organized in collaboration with HCT in Dubai and Sharjah DEWA.

As per the Update shared by the official Facebook page of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the workshop, which the organization organized, was based on DEWA and Metaverse.

The workshop inspired many participants to create the modernized and advanced technology solutions.

Hackathon is a platform which brings the computer programmers together, and Hackathon, also popularly known as a codefest, is a social coding event. The event brings computer programmers together at one platform and other interested people to improve upon or build a new software program.

Recently Dubai Electricity and Water Authority DEWA has been quite active in participating in Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022; the organization recently thanked the participants for participating in the Fitness Challenge and appreciated and valued being part of a substantial ongoing Fitness Challenge in Dubai. Dubai Fitness Challenge was initiated on 29 October and will end on 27 November.

Dubai Fitness Challenge is an initiative to promote physical health among the citizens and to practice exercises daily for thirty minutes in the upcoming 30 days.

While sharing the photo of the recent Hackathon, the official Facebook page of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority DEWA wrote a caption: “Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has organized a Metaverse and Digital Twin Hackathon in collaboration with HCT in Dubai and Sharjah. The Hackathon included workshops on DEWA And Metaverse and DEWA And Digital Twin to inspire participants to create advanced technology solutions.”
