During an inspection visit to Dubai Police's Resilience Centre, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, encouraged staff members to maintain excellence in enhancing the Force's readiness by anticipating risks and developing innovative futuristic solutions and plans as per the information shared by the official Facebook page of Dubai Police.

During an inspection visit to Dubai Police’s Resilience Centre, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, encouraged staff members to maintain excellence in enhancing the Force’s readiness by anticipating risks and developing innovative futuristic solutions and plans as per the information shared by the official Facebook page of Dubai Police.

The inspection visit was carried out in the presence of Brigadier Dr Saleh Al Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Department for Excellence and Pioneering; Brigadier Expert Ahmed Bourguiba, Director of the Resilience Centre; Brigadier Khalid bin Suleiman, Deputy Director of the Regulatory Office; Colonel Dr Abdul Rahman Al Mugnaini, Director of the Corporate Development Office for Excellence and Pioneering Affairs Sector; Colonel Abdullah Ateej Khamis, Deputy Director of the Resilience Centre, and several officers and employees.

Brig. Expert Bourguiba presented the Centre’s achievements, including the strategic indicator of ‘Meeting Resilience Standards Ratio’, which closed at 100% last year.

In addition to other 28 KPIs and sub-indicators, the Centre successfully achieved.

Meanwhile, the Centre’s Administrative Affairs Section provided an overview of last year’s training programmes and initiatives that successfully secured 100% on the employee happiness indicator by creating a happy and motivating work environment.

The Section also achieved 100% in handling accidents and crises and addressing opportunities for improvement in 2021.

The Training and Exercises Section also reviewed the strategic scenarios and drills carried out last year with the participation of 46 partners. These included 38 exercises featuring 12 strategic exercises and 26 internal exercises. The Section also addressed 100% of opportunities for improvement.

Meanwhile, the Risks Section presented all potential security challenges and ways to address them and introduced six new security plans in 2021.

The Information and Logistic Support Section also reviewed the capabilities of 62 partners of the public and private sectors. They presented three future digital projects to manage crises, disasters, and risks and ensure resilience.
