Sultanate of Oman records 93% increase in visitor numbers as per KeysInternational

From the beginning of September to the end of the current year 2022, visitors from global markets exceeded 93% compared to the same period last year, especially from European and Middle Eastern countries, thanks to an increase of more than 156% in the number of explorers from regional markets.

The number of visitors coming to the Sultanate of Oman from the GCC countries is expected to rise by 196% by the end of the year. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the largest source of tourism to the capital of Oman of the GCC countries, with an increase of 162% in the number of visitors.
