Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, has recently attended the inauguration ceremony of the Independence Business Expo held in observance of Saint Lucia on the occasion of the 44th (Forty-Fourth) Independence Anniversary.

As per the recent updates, Deputy Prime Minister Hilaire took to his official social media handle to share the news with the residents of Saint Lucia regarding the new opening of the Independence Business Expo.

He further conveyed that he was accompanied by the Saint Lucian Politician and former member of the Senate, Emma Hippolyte, during the opening ceremony.

In his remarks, The Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, Ernest Hilaire, also confirmed that several other Cabinet Members, along with top Government officials, were also present during the Expo opening ceremony.

According to the social media post shared by Deputy Prime Minister, several photographs were shared where he was seen participating in the inauguration event with pride and gratitude towards the newly built Business Expo in the country.

Furthermore, he also explained the long-term vision and purpose behind the set up of the independence business expo on the auspicious and special occasion of Saint Lucia’s forty-fourth independence anniversary as an initiative to showcase the wide range of businesses and start-ups differentiating from small to medium.

On his part, the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, also shared that the independence business expo will be commencing for two days in the City Center, which will host a number of events, including presenting small-scale and large-scale businesses of Saint Lucia as well as creative productions.

During his end notes, Minster of Tourism, Creative industry, Investment, Culture and Information has extended his best wishes to the organizing committee of the independence business expo at City Center. 

He concluded that the event would provide the business owners with great opportunities to present their business models and products in front of a large audience of the nation, which would substantially benefit them.
