Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police has recently issued an update mentioning the readiness to hot Eid al-Adha with a proactive traffic and security plan. The officials aimed to boost security, tourism and road safety in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Abu Dhabi Police clarified that the plan focuses on providing safety for all classes of society, from citizens, residents and visitors, and includes intensifying police patrols and security on internal and external roads.
It was said that the improvements would also facilitate tourist areas that are crowded during the holiday and near shopping malls, markets, parks, public parks and others.
Furthermore, it was suggested that all relevant police and security devices, especially the field workers, worked to reduce the efforts to promote security and spread reassurance in the community.
Furthermore, “The directorates in the capital, Ain, Zafra, the external areas, traffic, patrols, and the administration of patrols for an integrated organization for the Eid and violated all compliance with rules and regulations,” said the reports.
Abu Dhabi Police has drawn its interest to achieving the highest rates of road safety and to provide comfort and security in the souls of its users by being on the field at all times to ensure the provision of traffic.
Meanwhile, preparing scenarios and traffic plans that contribute to diverting traffic and preventing traffic congestion during the holiday and accompanying events.
Moreover, the community members and general public living in Abu Dhabi have been urged to obey the rules, not to deal in any way with fireworks and those who sell them, for the public’s safety while celebrating the Eid al-Adha holiday or any other events.
The youth group of vehicle drivers urged them to behave civilized while driving their vehicles and not exploit the joy of Eid to do any irresponsible behaviour such as dangerous parades, reckless driving, and organizing races near residential areas that endanger their lives and the lives of others.
Drivers have been urged to adhere to traffic laws, reduce speeds and not answer the phone or write greeting messages whilst driving.
The police officials have also pointed out that the Command-and-Control Centre (999) continues to work in the central operations sector 24 hours a day the week to receive calls and reports and ensure the arrival of specialized police teams as soon as possible to respond to urgent calls, emergencies and protect lives, property and national assets.
