Abu Dhabi University receives delegation from Western University 

Abu Dhabi University received a delegation from Western University headed by Professor Alan Shepherd President and Vice President, and Professor Ken Coley, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. 

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi University received a delegation from Western University headed by Professor Alan Shepherd President and Vice President, and Professor Ken Coley, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. 

The delegation was received by Abu Dhabi University Dean Professor Ghassan Awad, Dr Hamdi Al-Shaibani Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Professor Barry Omani Dean of the Faculty of Business, alongside a number of senior management members, and discussed.

The two universities, during the visit, promised partnership opportunities between them, and the delegation had the chance to tour the campus and see the most prominent stations of the distinguished Abu Dhabi University march.

The University were thrilled to welcome a distinguished delegation from Western University, led by Prof. Alan Shepard, President & Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Ken Coley, Dean of Engineering. 

Chancellor, Prof. Ghassan Aouad, along with Dr. Hamdi Sheibani, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Professor Barry O’Mahony, Dean of the College of Business, along with other senior management, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

 The visit was centred around exploring fruitful partnerships between our institutions and included a comprehensive campus tour and an engaging presentation about ADU’s remarkable journey.

Besides this, Abu Dhabi University also received a delegation from Lancaster University to the Dubai Campus. The delegation met Professor Ghassan Awad, University Director, Dr. Hamad Adabi, Deputy Director of the University, and Dr. Anas Al-Najdawi, Dubai Campus Director. 

They discussed ways to promote cooperation, joint scientific research and partnership between the institutions.

They are excited to have welcomed a delegation from Lancaster University to our Dubai Campus, where they met with Prof. Ghassan Aouad, Chancellor of ADU, Dr Hamad Odhabi, Vice Chancellor of ADU, and Dr Anas Najdawi, Director of the Dubai Campus.
