Saudi Arabia-Nigeria friendly football match ends with a draw

With a 2-2 score, Saudi Arabia finally prevented another loss in a football match played against Nigeria. The match was held in Lagos, Portugal, on Friday.

In a tense match at the initial stage, Nigeria was heading toward the win with a 2-1 score. But last time kick by Saudi Arabia player Mohamed Kanno turned the fate of the match. In this way, Saudi Arabia proved that with a display of skilled game, they can turn the future’s match in their favour.

At the beginning of the match, Salman Al-Faraj broke the deadlock with his free kick, which was soon equalised with another point scored by Victor Boniface of the opposition team.

Kanno, in fact, brought a turning moment in a match in the 90th minute of injury time.
In the first half of the match, both the teams struggled to secure the score against one another, but all in vain. But soon after the beginning of the second half game between the rival teams, both teams displayed an extraordinary game.

In the second half of the game, both the teams scored two goals each against the rival team and took the match to end with a draw.

Saudi Arabia team’s captain player, Salman Al-Faraj, shook the scoreboard in the 60th minute with a shot of skilful free kick, and then Abdul Ilah Al-Omari levelled the game by scoring a point for his Nigerian team.

Ehancho added another second point for his Nigerian team in the 81st minute.

In the midfield, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Ali Hazazi, and a young player, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, who was playing his first match on Mancini’s list, played very well. Fahad Al-Muwallad wore the captain’s armband alongside Abdullah Al-Hamdan, with Firas Al-Brikkan leading the attack.

The second half also saw the introduction of several other players, with Mancini bringing in Salman Al-Faraj, Salem Al-Dosari, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Mohammed Kanno, Mohammed Maran, and Saleh Al-Shehri.
