Jordan: University of Petra all set to host body language workshop

The administration of the University of Petra announced the holding of a workshop on body language. The workshop will take place on the 9th of October 2023 at the student affairs department. The Wajahi (hall 2 ) of the student affairs department will hold the seminar on body language.

The university administration also took to social media handles to inform in this regard. As per the information, the timing of the workshop will be 12 to 2 PM. Moreover, the key speaker of the event will be coach Lana Khachman.

It is to be specifically mentioned that in the past, the university frequently held many workshops on different aspects of students’ welfare. The present workshop is also part of a series of sessions being organised by the university. As per the university official, they are going to hold a workshop on the sound language also.

The workshop on sound language will take place on the 7th of October, 2023. The sound workshop will also be held at the wajahi (hall 1) of the student affairs department. The timing of the sound workshop will be 2 to 4 PM on this day.

The university also provided a link on the social media handle to register for the body language workshop. Concerned authorities of the University of Petra said that the university is always keen to enhance the overall development of the students. They said that university authorities realised that Body language is a unique and important factor in personality development.

Moreover, body language is a important nonverbal mode of communication. Body language does not require a specific educational qualification. But a qualified and well-educated person needs command over body language.

According to experts, non-verbal communication, like body language, constitutes almost 70 to 93 per cent of all communication mediums.

University students also expressed that they are waiting for the workshop and hope that it will help them to hone their body lanuage skills.
