Two hikers, a man and a woman, were rescued from a perilous situation on the mountain peaks of Ras Al Khaimah, after becoming exhausted during their trek to the summit.

According to the Ras Al Khaimah Police, the operations room received a distress call about two tourists who had become stranded at the peak of a mountain in the emirate.
A helicopter from the police air wing was immediately dispatched to locate and assist the individuals.

On Sunday, the National Search and Rescue Centre of the UAE National Guard successfully carried out a medical evacuation of two individuals aboard a cargo ship.
The ship was located 6.5 nautical miles off Al Hamriyah Port in Sharjah when the medical emergency was reported.
