Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Abu Dhabi Police has recently announced the new violations of traffic regulation rules and procedures No (178) in rainy weather for drivers.
The Abu Dhabi Police General Command called on drivers to commit to safe driving during heavy rains and turbulence, according to the official update.
She urged the necessity to stay away from windows and places that collect water and avoid approaching electrical extension lines, and exposed places and close to trees during rainfall and adhere to safety instructions to keep everyone safe.
Dean Mahmoud Youssef Al-Balushi, the directorate of traffic and patrols, demanded drivers the necessity of discipline while driving the vehicle, especially during rainfall, to warn against driving recklessly, negligence, and risking entering Odia and not complying with traffic rules.

As per the update by the Abu Dhabi Police, the Director of the Traffic and Patrol Directorate called for law enforcement and accountability by maintaining roads and private and public property, not endangering the lives of drivers and others, promoting positive behaviours, contributing to reducing traffic accidents and resulting in fatalities and injuries.
He pointed out that driving in rainy conditions requires taking measures to enhance the safety of the driver and his companions by keeping the windows clean for clear vision and maintaining the headlights to improve visibility while driving, and replacing old tires with new ones to prevent slipping.
Emphasized the importance of maintaining an appropriate safe distance from other vehicles and not pressing the brakes suddenly at high speed, and slowing down significantly when turning to prevent the car from slipping and pulling to the side of the road in case you feel invisible while driving.
