United Arab Emirates: A training program has been carried out by the Directorate of Criminal and Reformal Institutions in the Community Security Sector in 13 (thirteen) districts over two days to enable them to start small businesses and startups after release. The initiative was held under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Police in cooperation with the Khalifa Fund for Project Development. 

According to recent updates, the officials from the Abu Dhabi Police have taken to its official social media handle to release information about the carried-out training courses—the courses aimed at promoting the culture of small businesses and startups among them.

The reports say that while conducting the courses in 13 (thirteen) different districts, the authorities have delivered detailed information essential to follow such a path.

According to the shared update, it has been noted that “The Directorate of Criminal and Reformal Institutions in the Community Security Sector under the General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with the Khalifa Fund for Project Development, carried out a training course for 13 districts over two days.” “The courses aim to enable them to open small businesses after their release,” it added.

On his part, Abu Dhabi Police Community Security Sector Director General Ahmed Masoud Al-Mazroui confirmed the interest of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command in activating strategic partnerships. He added that documenting community and humanitarian links is vital to the approach. 

Furthermore, he cited that providing residents with the knowledge that qualifies them to integrate with society and preserve their rights in education, training, etc., holds certain significance. “To ensure that they go out to a family that can contain and embrace them to be productive energies in the society,” he added.

Dean Faisal Issa Al-Hamadi, Director of the Directorate of Punitive and Reformal Institutions in the Community Security Sector explained that the course comes within the annual plan to qualify and motivate residents to implement investment projects and teach them how to utilize the available facilities and employ them in the best ways.

The reports also confirmed that the course included teaching the trainee how to prepare feasibility studies, manage the project and study the market in light of local and global economic innovations and variables.

It was also stated that the keenness to support residents to continue benefiting from science and knowledge in various areas especially related to the nature of their future business after their release.
