Abu Dhabi World Healthcare Week brings together healthcare leaders and other stakeholders

The first edition of the 'Abu Dhabi World Healthcare Week' was hosted by the Health Department from 13-15 May 2024.

Abu Dhabi: The first edition of the ‘Abu Dhabi World Healthcare Week’ was hosted by the Health Department from 13-15 May 2024. It was held in collaboration with local and global partners under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

The events will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Center for Exhibitions under the slogan “The Shape Transformation in the Future of Global Healthcare” and are expected to be attended by more than 20 thousand people, 300 exhibitors and 200 thought leaders and lecturers.

This landmark global conference will bring together healthcare leaders and other stakeholders from around the world to study and discuss global perspectives and challenges facing the world, and map possible pathways for an inclusive and integrated healthcare system. 

The event will also focus on four key pillars including reimagining healthcare, holistic health, leading medical discoveries, and revolutionary techniques in healthcare.

Abu Dhabi’s hosting such a landmark global event reinforces its important position as a leader in healthcare and incubator of innovation in life sciences.

Under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled Dhabi’samed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the first edition of the “Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week”, organised by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, will kick off from May 13 to 15, 2024.

The event will have the overarching theme of “Transforming the Future of Global Healthcare” and will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), where more than 20,000 attendees, 300 exhibitors, and 200 representatives” of thought leaders and speakers are set to participate.

This highly anticipated global conference will bring healthcare leaders and stakeholders from around the world together to address global perspectives and challenges, shaping trajectories for a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem.

Focusing on four key pillars: reimagining healthcare, diverse and inclusive health, trailblazing medical breakthroughs, and disruptive healthcare; this convention further reaffirms Abu Dhabi’s position as a pioneering healthcare destination on the global stage.
