Dubai: Expo city set to celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s birthday with special light show

Expo City in Dubai will be celebrating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad with a spiritual recital, light shows, traditional dance and many more for a two-day event from October 7 to October 9.

Expo City in Dubai will be celebrating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad with a spiritual recital, light shows, traditional dance and many more for a two-day event from October 7 to October 9.

The event at Expo City in Dubai will be from 6.15 pm to 9 pm. It will be featuring ‘Al Maled’ performances, which is a spiritual and traditional art form that embodies the Prophet’s values of service and compassion.

On this special occasion, Expo City has organised performances which will witness Al Wasl, the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface, light up with a special show for the event. Visitors will also enjoy the weekend of traditional Emirati dance groups.

The event will be full of educational, cultural and entertaining aspects. Expo city in Dubai will celebrate human innovation, creativity and originality and inspires future generations.

The Expo City 2022 is built on the inspiration of Expo City 2020. The city is based on a deep-rooted belief that a broad coalition of people working together can propel human progress to help create a more sustainable and dignified future for all.

Recently the UAE’s authorities announced a public holiday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad on Saturday, October 8 2022.

An announcement was made by issuing the circular among members of society by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

The authorities announced paid holidays in all public sectors across the country.

The leave will be a relief for the people who work every Saturday as this public holiday calls for a long weekend.

In several Islamic countries, including all the Gulf countries, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad is honoured on the third month of the Islamic calendar, which is 12 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1444.
