Dubai: Fast-Food chain Al Baik to launch its new branch in Mall of the Emirates

The Saudi Arabian fast-food chain Al Baik has gained massive fame in the UAE since it first opened in June 2021 in The Dubai Mall.

Later it expanded its chain and opened a temporary branch at Expo 2020 Dubai, which was also very successful on its opening day only as queues were seen extending outside the building. But, as Expo 2020 concluded a month ago, the food chain has given a slight hint regarding another branch opening in the UAE.

Although the branch was being guessed to have opened in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, it seems that Al Baik’s next outlet will be in the Mall of the Emirates.

Hoarding next to Shake Shack along with Al Baik’s prominent red and white logo of a bird in a top hat shows it to be the newest location.

Meanwhile, no other details regarding the opening or what cuisine will it be offering is not presently available, but these are some of the assumptions based on the old branch.

Some of the favourites are the Double Baik burger, chicken nuggets meal, chicken fillet sandwich, and Al Baik chicken meal. There are also famous dishes of Al Baik, including Big Baik sandwiches and Al Baik shawarma, shrimp meals and falafel sandwiches.

Last year, in December, Al Baik did limited deliveries around the city with Talabat, areas that were covered during this period include Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Design District, Al Safa, Al Qouz 1, 2 and 3, Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3 and Al Jaddaf.

The first branch of Al Baik opened in 1974 in Jeddah, and Dubai was its third stop after it opened two of its branches in Bahrain in 2020.

Witnessing its huge success, it is no surprise that it is expanding across UAE, with future plans to function “across the seven emirates”.
