Dubai Police organizes “30-minute Walk” Event

The Dubai Police General Command organized the "30-minute Walk" event early Monday morning at the Dubai Police Officer's Club with a participation of 450 employees as part of the force's participation in the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022.

Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Acting Director of the General Department of Community Happiness at Dubai Police, joined the walk with several Dubai Police senior officers.

Brig. Al Mansouri said that the “30-minute Walk” event is among 47 sporting activities organized by Dubai Police in conjunction with the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022, which was launched in 2017 by His Highness, President Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. He pointed out that the Dubai Fitness Challenge is a vital step to consolidate Dubai’s position as the most active, vibrant, and happiest city in the world and enable all individuals in society to enjoy a healthy, happy and active life.

Brig. Al Mansouri also confirmed that Dubai Police, under the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, is always keen to support the government’s objectives by establishing relevant initiatives, programs and activities.

“The Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022 is a chance for everyone in the city to complete 30 minutes of activity daily for 30 days to create a fitness-focused mindset and seek healthy, active lifestyles,” he concluded.

Running from Saturday, October 29th until November 27th 2022, the Dubai Fitness 2022 enables everyone in the city to do thirty minutes of exercise each day for 30 days.

As per the reports, this will help to achieve this goal; there will be a packed calendar of activities and events for all ages around Dubai to get involved in, including football, watersports, padel tennis, yoga, and cricket.
