Dubai: World famous Italian fashion institute “Istituto Marangoni” opens new campus

The world's number one leading fashion and design school, Istituto Marangoni, has officially inaugurated its new campus in the Dubai International Financial District on Tuesday.

The world’s number one leading fashion and design school, Istituto Marangoni, has officially inaugurated its new campus in the Dubai International Financial District on Tuesday.

Dubai is now opening a boutique fashion school which aims to promote an innovative learning experience with Italian expertise to encourage local talent and shape the future of the UAE fashion and design industry.

The classes for the new student intake will commence on 19 September 2022. The world-famous fashion school will be offering a range of three-year undergraduate studies, including interior design, product design, visual design, fashion and accessories design, fashion business and fashion styling and creative direction.

The Institue will also focus on offering professional and short courses covering different aspects of the fashion and design industry.

The School Director Istituto Marangoni Dubai, Roberto La Iacona, said that the institute looks forward to welcoming new students and transforming their passions into professional careers.

In addition, School Director said that “Since 1935, Istituto Marangoni’s mission has always been to empower talents. Some of the internationally recognised and award-winning fashion and design stars include Franco Moschino, Domenico Dolce, Rahul Mishra and Rafael Lopez, who graduated from Istituto Marangoni, and the world’s best fashion institution wants to support the growth and development of the UAE fashion, design and creative industry by educating a new generation of local talents.”

Istituto Marangoni Dubai is located at gate eight at DIFC. The institute offers students a contemporary and stylish environment with well-equipped industry and sector-specific facilities.

The world’s famous fashion institute focuses on facilities, including a drawing and sketching room, fabric library, pattern and cutting room, fashion and design book library and an outdoor terrace.

The world-famous fashion institute was built under the 1,050-square-metre. It was directed by the Italian architect Giulio Cappellini who also designed furniture pieces, including chairs, tables and sofas used for the school.

Istituto Marangoni also has Paris, London, Mumbai, Miami, and Florence campuses.
