Dubai’s grand new Hindu Temple is in full swing to be inaugurated this year on October 4 and will be open for the citizens of the United Arab Emirates from the festival of Dusshera, also known as Dussehra, Dasara or Dashain, is a major Hindi festival celebrated at the end of Navaratri every year.

The people of all faiths will get access to the Temple, and all worshippers and other visitors are going to witness the 16 deities as well as other interior works.

During the installation of the divinities, special prayers were performed for about nine days for each deity. Moreover, Guru Grant Sahib, The Holy Book of Sikhs, was also established in the month of August.

In the main hall of the magnificent Hindu Temple, all of the deities are installed at the main entrance. There is a large 3D-printed pink lotus unfurling across the central dome in the main prayer hall. Several families had received a chance to participate in the ceremonies held for the installation of the deities.

In addition, the newly built Hindu Temple is described as the “Worship Village” in Jebel Ali, which houses several churches as well as the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara.

The soft opening of the Hindu Temple was organised on the month of September 1. The authorities, as well as the management of the Temple, have installed a QR code-based appointment system through the official website of the Hindu temple in Dubai for visitors all over the world.

Since the first day, the Temple has welcomed many families and visitors, especially on weekends. The fixed entry has been controlled through the QR-coded appointments for crowd management and to ensure social distancing.

About 14 pandits are invited from India to chant the Vedic shlokas inside the Temple. This activity is the only ritual done in the Temple at the moment.

The grand opening of the Hindu Temple will be held in the first week of October month (October 5). The authorities from the United Arab Emirates and the Indian governments are scheduled to attend the event.

The official opening of the Temple for people all over the world will be the day of the Dussehra festival.
