DUBAI’S HINDU TEMPLE LAUNCHES QR BOOKINGS FROM OCT 5 FOR VISITORS

The new Hindu temple in Dubai’s Jebel Ali is opening on October 05, 2022. QR code-based appointments will start accepting from September. The hindu temple will be opening for visitors on the auspicious Hindu festival Dussehra announced by Raju Shroff , Temple trustee.

The trustee said they were ready to open the temple’s doors on October 5, 2022. Still, they want to educate people on how to visit the Hindu temple, and workers are putting final efforts into the majestic structure to welcome visitors.

The beautiful Hindu temple is located in the corridor of Jebel Ali, which houses several Churches and a Gurudwara. The 70,000 sqft temple and community is an extension of six decades old Sindhi guru darbar temple in Bur Dubai and is licensed by Community Development Authority (CDA).

Keeping in mind the current scenario, the Management has decided to start online appointments in COVID 19 to ensure the safety of the visitors. Raju shroff Temple trustee said the temple would be opened in two phases. The first floor will be inaugurated on the Hindu festival Dusshera and the second phase will be opening in January on the day of Makarsankranti.

On the Hindu temple’s first floor in Jebel Ali’s corridors, there will be a hall with 16 deities worshipped across India. The banquet hall will be in 4000 sqft, multipurpose room and knowledge room will be ground floor. All the facilities will be available to people from January 14 2023, visitors and organise weddings and other rituals within this temple. Temple also has well-equipped cold storage and a kitchen.

The temple will be arranging different queues for families and bachelors people can book appointments as groups from mail or phone number. The registered families will be notified from time to time about festivals and celebrations in the temple.
