Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo again shines in Saudi Pro League. Al Nassr sealed a 5-1 win over Al Hazm with Ronaldo’s goal and two assists—another record for Ronaldo as he becomes the first footballer to score 850 goals.

After a bad start in the season with two back-to-back losses, the club has made an astonishing recovery and sealed three consecutive victories against Al Fateh, Al Shabad and Al Hazm.

Currently, the five-time Balon d’Or winner is the top scorer and assister in the league since the beginning of the season. He played 10 games, scored 11 goals, provided 3 assists and won 1 trophy against the rival club Al-Hilal.

Former Liverpool and Bayern forward Sadio Mane, playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, has performed astonishingly since coming to Saudi Arabia. He scored the 5th goal in 78th minute and provided significant support to his team entire game.

Cristiano was again compared and criticized for his bad start this season. He has made a remarkable recovery with three consecutive victories and a goal contribution in every game. He is the top scorer in the league and is in good form.

The first season of Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia was not very impressive. He scored many goals but could not win any trophy for Al-Nassr, which was rare for the legendary Portuguese player. But the current season has been different from the beginning.

They won the Arab Club Champions Cup by beating Al-Hilal in extra time, and they also qualified for the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League with an amazing comeback win in the playoff round. Ronaldo was critical in both successes, especially in the Cup final, where he scored two goals.

His last goal was his sixth in the previous three games, and he also made four assists in this period. He is now the top scorer and the top assister in the league. With Ronaldo in excellent form, Al-Nassr hopes to win more trophies soon. They are only four points behind the leaders in the table.

After losing two games at the start of their Saudi Pro League campaign, the team has recovered well in the last three games, primarily because of Ronaldo’s excellent performances. Ronaldo scored again in their recent 5-1 win over Al-Hazem and gave two assists.
