Saint Lucia: Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire reviews progress of upcoming Jazz and Arts Festival

Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, hosted several agencies who are part of the Mass Crows Events Approval process and carried out a review process on February 03, 2023, regarding the Jazz and Arts Festival.

As per the recent updates, Deputy Prime Minister Hilaire further added that the event was hosted to discuss and review the process and upcoming carnival season of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival, which is expected to be the biggest Carnival event in the country.

Furthermore, The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia is one of the primary stakeholders of the country’s most anticipated and biggest carnival season and hosts regular interactive meetings with the number of agencies who will participate during the carnival season.

“As we gear up for what is promising to be an exciting year for events with the start of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival and an even bigger Carnival season,” said Deputy Prime Minister Ernest during today’s meeting.   

He added, “We must streamline and create an efficient and effective environment for these events. However, we must ensure that we protect the health and safety of the patrons and the wider public”.

In addition, Deputy PM Hilaire also shared a glimpse of the meeting on his official social media handle; he posted several photographs from the event where he participated in interactive discussions regarding the preparations for the Carnival season. Moreover, he pointed out key factors to focus on while preparing the arrangements for hosting Jazz and Arts Festival in Saint Lucia.

Additionally, along with the agencies, Deputy Prime Minster Ernest exchanged ideas with the agency’s leaders to reach a conclusion and pathway to move on for the Festival, as the Saint Lucia Carnival is considered among the most rated and awaited events among the people of the country. “The upcoming year will host various exciting events,” noted Ernest Hilaire.
