Saint Lucia: PM Philip J Pierre Visit Dunnottar School

Philip J Pierre joined the students and staff of Dunnottar School for a Christmas celebration with them.

Philip J Pierre Prime Minister of Saint Lucia , joined the students and staff of Dunnottar School for a Christmas celebration. He enjoyed various activities with school pupils here.

As Christmas and New Year celebrations are widely held in the Caribbean region, mass programs and gatherings were also scheduled in Saint Lucia. The people of Saint Lucia also wait throughout the year for these celebrations. However, due to bad weather conditions many scheduled events were cancelled this year.

The government and its different departments also cancelled their preplanned events. But as there was some improvement in Weather conditions in some regions of the Country, PM Philip J Pierre did not Miss the Opportunity to spend quality time with school children.

PM Phillip J Pierre took to social media about his participation in this event at Dunnottar School. He stated, “Every year, on the last day of school, I have the pleasure of hosting students and teachers from Special Education schools across the island at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence for a Christmas Party. This year Unfortunately, we had to postpone this year’s festivities due to the inclement weather, despite all our preparations and excitement for celebrations.However, when the weather permitted us we gathered food and gifts and visited the Dunnottar School to spread some Christmas cheer.
God willing, I always look forward to hosting this event in the new year for all the students and teachers.

At school, PM Philip J Pierre also interacts with the teachers. He also joined the children for slides and swings, etc.

Meanwhile, social media users also appreciated PM Philip J Pierre for making the day of students memorable. One user, Ena Francois, commented, “That what I am talking about is what we call a class government put the children first. That what I love, peace”.
