Dominica: The Parliamentary Representative of the Roseau Central Constituency in the Commonwealth of Dominica, Melissa Poponne-Skerrit, has recently shared an update regarding her participation in the initiative in association with the Ministry of Public Works to promote education sectors in the nation.

According to recent updates, the member of the House of Assembly for the Roseau Central constituency took it to her official social media handle to share the news with pride and honour with the residents and citizens of Dominica.

In addition, she expressed the goal of the initiative launched by her, along with her happiness to associate with the Public Works Ministry of Dominica in order to make better changes and amendments to the education infrastructure in the country. 

In her social media caption, the Parliamentary representative of her constituency, Melissa Skerrit, pointed out the fundamentals and importance of such initiatives and wrote, “I am excited to collaborate on this initiative with the Ministry of Public Works to promote the advancement of education in sectors of today’s world that are paramount to our advancement as a people as well as a nation.”

Furthermore, while explaining the need for the required improvements in the education system of the Commonwealth of Dominica, she also acknowledged the importance of technological advancements in the nation, more specifically among the youth and children during their study period. 

She added that the new generation in the schools and colleges would get extra benefits through advanced digital study material and learning techniques. 

She extended her remarks and mentioned that the nation’s education sector is in great necessity of technological advancement, which should be available in the hands of students in every classroom. 

“The teachers would be facilitated to teach the students through new and innovative ways which would help them easy and more effective learning throughout their schooling period,” Melissa Skerrit noted.
