St Kitts and Nevis: Former National player, Daren Pemberton presents U-20 players with basketball supplies

St Kitts and Nevis:  St Kitts and Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (SKNABA) has recently updated that SKNABA under 20 Jr (Junior) League is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, January 24 2023. According to officials, four junior teams will compete with each other in the upcoming tournament.

As per the recent updates, before the amateur basketball tournament yesterday, January 22, the players and teams attended an event where they were presented with the basketball supplies and equipment for their upcoming games.

During the pre-tournament event, the junior players and team management of the teams got to meet and interact with the former national basketball player Daren Pemberton. 

In addition, the players and support staff of the under-20 teams were complimented and got best wishes by the former player Daren Pemberton, reports.

As per the reports, Daren Pemberton has also shared his experience and learnings during the meeting with the junior club players and other staff, where he talked about different aspects of the game and how to approach it for better results.

Furthermore, the event hosted the distribution ceremony of the basketballs and other supplies along with necessary equipment, which was presented to the boards of all four junior basketball teams that competed in the opening games of St Kitts and Nevis Amateur Basketball Association 2023 Under 20 (U20) Basketball League.

The management of the SKNABA will further present the basketball supplies and equipment to the other three teams and boards, which will be starting on January 24, 2023.

At the end of the meeting, the SKNABA (St Kitts and Nevis Amateur Basketball Association) officials stated that the provided basketball supplies are part of the donation and support received by the SKNABA earlier this month from former National Player Daren Pemberton.

SKNABA authorities concluded the event by expressing immense gratitude and thankfulness towards the former national basketball player for his act of generosity to contribute to the young and upcoming generation of the game, which would boost their morale.
